Road Frames

WELCOME TO THE ERA OF SPEED IN GRAVEL. A new breed of rider is emerging—one who loves the freedom and exploration that gravel culture was founded upon but who has a hunger to ride wild, to go full bore, and to explore not just geography but personal limits. This frontier requires a new kind of gravel machine, one engineered not to roam the trails, but to slay them. For these athletes, we created a machine engineered for pure, unapologetic speed—ready to take down finish lines, KOM leaderboards, PR’s, and FKT’s. A single bike that first generates maximum speed, then controls that speed across the variable conditions gravel athletes must conquer. A machine built without limits, for the riders willing to test them. ROAD RACING INSPIRED. GRAVEL RACING REFINED. It’s time to change the paradigm of gravel bike design from hauling gear slowly to empowering athletes quickly. Leveraging vast knowledge from road racing, the Aspero frame is designed with world tour stiffness for greater pedal power transfer, using less and lighter material to aid climbing and accelerating, while maximizing speeds with aerodynamic shapes critical to efficiency at speed. The Aspero lets you choose the tire that best suits the terrain so you're always in control, with clearance for 700c x 42 or 650B x 49 combinations. Since different outside rolling diameters of various wheel and tire combinations affect the bike handling, the fork includes a "Trail Mixer" design that adjusts trail to lessen the impact on handling when swapping between most common tire sizes.
The Caledonia-5 was inspired by our own out-the-front-door rides and built for the way we ride bikes. You could call it an "all road" or "endurance" bike, but when it comes right down to it, the Caledonia is the bike we keep reaching for when we know the odometer’s going well past the triple-digit mark. Long rides invariably have some smooth tarmac, some junk pavement over backroads, a cutty singletrack connector, and maybe even your own local Strade Bianche sector. So we built a bike that could take on all of them, do it well, and fit fenders in case the ominous clouds turn into a downpour 130km into your day. We don’t see road bikes as fragile machines meant only for putting watts into and receiving speed from. They’re an extension of our soul, of the way we want to see our worlds, and the lives we want to live. Sometimes that means cutting across park grass, and sometimes it’s seeing where that dirt road off to the left leads you. The Caledonia-5 is a bike for the modern road rider. Aero Cable Management The Cervelo frame, fork, handlebars, and associated components are designed to hide brake and shift control lines (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic) from the wind for improved aerodynamics, without sacrificing usability or performance. Performance Fit The Caledonia’s integrated stem and two bearing cap options allow for stacks ranging between an aggressive 7mm and a relaxed 22mm without the use of spacers. With a wider fit coordinate range (stack) of 580mm to 687mm, the Caledonia can be as low as a slammed R3 or taller than our tallest C3. All while looking and being seamlessly fast in the wind. Integrated Accessory Mounts Integrated mounts enable the use of fenders, lights, and computers without compromising the aerodynamics or structure of your bike. The built-in mount systems provide a simple and clean-looking solution in a lighter weight frame.
We created the race-ready P-Series for the athlete seeking speed, storage, value, and comfort. It’s our no-nonsense machine engineered to get you from Point A to B, faster. The P-Series features better air economy, improved stiffness and comfort, and a design that incorporates discipline, focus, style, and swagger. Every pedal stroke propels human and machine through the air with ease, turning watts into wins. Whether your challenge is a long course or sprint event, P-Series comes equipped to carry the load. With a 500ml aero water bottle, 400ml of top-tube storage, and an integrated rear hydration mount as standard equipment, no opportunity to help our athletes win races is ignored. Collapsing the assumption that narrow is aero, the new P-Series leverages all that we learned during the legendary P5 development to deliver a platform that is not only stiffer and lighter than its predecessor but also boasts lower drag. It climbs better, corners naturally, and is faster in every application.
The P5 Disc is a bike focused entirely on one thing: your performance. We applied years of experience in engineering the fastest aero bikes and real-world testing with our pro athletes. The result is a bike that pushes the boundaries in every way. Weight Our engineers dedicated countless hours to testing and data crunching to make the P5 not only stiffer and more aero, but lighter as well. A lighter bike accelerates faster and climbs better to give you every possible advantage on the road. Aerodynamics The legendary aerodynamics of the P5 are fine-tuned to create an aero system that is stiffer and lighter than ever before. Its frame shapes, fit adjustments, and design features work together to reduce drag and enhance your efficiency. Stiffness We refined the stiffness of key points of the frame to create a bike that corners better and transfers power more smoothly. You will feel it from your first pedal stroke: a stiff response that inspires you to pedal harder and go faster.
Those who live on a strict diet of road require a bike that can deliver the ultimate all-round ride. From cobbles to concrete, coasts to climbs, the R is engineered to provide maximum performance and rideability. As standard, the R is a pro-level machine. Raced in the Hell of the North by Team Sunweb, it proves that nothing we make is anything less than high performance. Light and stiff, it retains compliance where you need it for long days in the saddle. The geometry is designed for responsive and stable handling without sacrificing comfort. This is a bike you can trust, whether attacking out of the saddle or on the inside of a downhill corner. Elite Fit Our Elite Fit is based on extensive observations and analysis of riders' positions. It offers a wide range of positions for all athletes, from endurance riders to Pro-Tour racers, without compromising handling, comfort, or performance. Squoval Max Squoval Max tubes are part of a library of tube shapes that combine the attributes of a square with an oval but with a more aerodynamic leading edge. With these unique shapes, we dial-in the ideal balance of stiffness and weight in specific areas of a frame while reducing aerodynamic drag. BBright Cervelo developed BBright to take advantage of the fact that oversized frame tubes are stiffer and lighter. With the BBright system, larger-sized tubes are used in the seat tube, down tube, and left-hand chainstay. The benefit is increased stiffness and pedaling efficiency in a lighter weight frame. BBright is compatible with all major crank standards.
The R5 is engineered to help you achieve glory—whatever that is for you. World Tour riders praise its unrivaled stiffness, light weight, and stable handling. This bike isn’t only for the pros, though—the ultimate all-round ride experience is here for you. The R5 sits at the top of the road category with a frame fine-tuned for greater speed. Our Pro Fit geometry offers a more aerodynamic position and prioritizes stability and handling at even higher velocities. It’s a reference for stiffness and weight in this category yet retains the ride quality you need to stay fresh on the biggest of days. Squoval Max Squoval Max tubes are part of a library of tube shapes that combine the attributes of a square with an oval but with a more aerodynamic leading edge. With these unique shapes, we dial in the ideal balance of stiffness and weight in specific areas of a frame, while reducing aerodynamic drag. Pro Fit Cervelo’s Pro Fit offers our lowest frame stack heights to enable an aerodynamic riding position. The Pro Fit is the direct result of input from our pro racers who wanted to get their handlebars as low as possible for maximum aerodynamic advantage. The S makes every part of every ride better: the final sprint on your Saturday morning group ride or solo interval efforts on the edge of town. We’ve applied years of experience of building the most aero bikes in the peloton to create a bike that delivers maximum performance. When the UCI’s frame design rules changed we grasped the opportunity and pushed it to the limits. We made aerodynamic gains via a fully integrated cockpit for both mechanical and electronic builds. The S disc became a whopping 102 grams (13 watts) faster than its predecessor. With such huge gains being made at this highly competitive performance level, the S reflects our commitment to bringing tangible aero gains within reach of more riders. Elite Fit Our Elite Fit is based on extensive observation and analysis of riders’ positions. It offers a wide range of positions for all athletes, from endurance riders to Pro-Tour racers, without compromising handling, comfort, or performance. Aero Cable Management The Cervelo frame, fork, handlebars, and associated components are designed to hide brake and shift control lines (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic) from the wind for improved aerodynamics, without sacrificing usability or performance. Floating RDH Our two part floating rear derailleur hanger is designed to allow for easy alignment of the rear dropouts, ensuring that the rear axle can be installed quickly and simply every time. This design also incorporates the rear derailleur hanger and comes in different versions (threaded, RAT style) allowing you to easily update your frame and fork if standards change.
