Cervelo R-Series Ultegra Di2
Details
Those who live on a strict diet of road require a bike that can deliver the ultimate all-round ride. From cobbles to concrete, coasts to climbs, the R is engineered to provide maximum performance and rideability.
As standard, the R is a pro-level machine. Raced in the Hell of the North by Team Sunweb, it proves that nothing we make is anything less than high performance. Light and stiff, it retains compliance where you need it for long days in the saddle. The geometry is designed for responsive and stable handling without sacrificing comfort. This is a bike you can trust, whether attacking out of the saddle or on the inside of a downhill corner.
Elite Fit
Our Elite Fit is based on extensive observations and analysis of riders' positions. It offers a wide range of positions for all athletes, from endurance riders to Pro-Tour racers, without compromising handling, comfort, or performance.
Squoval Max
Squoval Max tubes are part of a library of tube shapes that combine the attributes of a square with an oval but with a more aerodynamic leading edge. With these unique shapes, we dial-in the ideal balance of stiffness and weight in specific areas of a frame while reducing aerodynamic drag.
BBright
Cervelo developed BBright to take advantage of the fact that oversized frame tubes are stiffer and lighter. With the BBright system, larger-sized tubes are used in the seat tube, down tube, and left-hand chainstay. The benefit is increased stiffness and pedaling efficiency in a lighter weight frame. BBright is compatible with all major crank standards.
- R-Series full carbon frame and fork
- Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain
- Reserve 35mm carbon rims / DT370 hubs
- Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes
Electronic drivetrain systems deliver excellent shifting, easy set up, and solid battery life. Here are the highlights of today’s electronic shifting systems:
Shifting Performance
Electronic shifting systems use powerful servomotors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with precisely and without chain rub.
Customization
Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.
Dependability
Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you’ll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.
